Description:
🐴 Ranch Hand Needed – Horse Ranch in Lucerne Valley, close to Apple Valley.



We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working ranch hand to join our team. This is a hands-on position for someone who truly cares about animals and isn’t afraid of a little dirt, sweat, and somewhat early mornings.



If you have a trailer or motorhome, on-site living may be possible! (We also may have a camper trailer to provide for onsite living if interested.)



-Feeding horses and dogs

-Cleaning stalls, pens, and ranch areas

-Filling water troughs and buckets

-Basic horse handling (turnout, haltering, leading)

-Assisting with vet/farrier visits when needed

-General ranch upkeep (sweeping, fixing fencing, etc.)

-Small scale construction projects



Requirements:

Experience with horses is strongly preferred

Must be dependable and show up on time

Ability to lift 50+ lbs (feed bags, hay, etc.)

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather

Calm, patient, and confident around animals

Valid driver’s license preferred

Able to remain sober during the shift

Transportation is a plus.



Bonus If You Have:

Basic medical knowledge (wound care, meds, etc.)

Tractor or equipment experience



Schedule & Pay:

Part-time or full-time (flexible for the right person)

Weekend availability would be great.

Pay based on experience, with a possibility of housing offered/living on property.
