We have made the hard decision to offer Razor to the public. Anybody that knows us; knows Razor. He has been Cody’s go-to rodeo horse for all the ranch rodeos & team roping’s for several years now. This horse has more resume than most people. A completely solid ranch horse from everything spring/fall works, catching & leading wild cattle, picking up bucking horses, starting colts, cow camps in the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming, & Montana-doctoring yearlings, carrying flags in grand entries, & he is a JAM UP ranch rodeo horse. Razor took home the Top Horse award helping the boys win the rodeo in 2024 at the Black Hills Roundup ranch rodeo in Belle Fourche, SD. Razor would excel in some ranch horse shows because he boxes a cow so pretty & will go stop one on the fence; tracks & rates amazing, HUGE stop, knows his job when you sit down. Razor would excel as a calf, breakaway or tripping horse. Razor is also the “boss’s horse.” Catching everybody’s attention & does the COOL things like the boss should ride on the ranch. Very friendly & gentle to handle on the ground, has great manners.

Razors ONLY quirk is that he can have a hump in his back when fresh- he does not do anything about it besides be tight for a minute when you first get on. We have tested it in every way; that’s just his quirk but absolutely not a bronc or bad in any way. Because of that, he would do best going to someone who will use him consistently.

It will be incredibly hard to say goodbye to Razor; we love this horse but know somebody else will too; plus get a really cool horse in America’s favorite color. For more information, call Cody @ (605) 641-5042.
