Description:
His name is Toast, but he is affectionately known as “the golden child” in our barn! Toast has it all… the flashy color, good conformation, gentle and kind, and very versatile. This gelding is a grade 7 year old quarter horse standing right at 15 hands tall. Toast has done a little of everything! He was lightly patterned on barrels when he was younger, trail rides, done trail obstacle courses, rides through town, has carried the flag, and will rope and drag logs and barrels. He does everything with a calm and cool attitude and a willingness to please. He is soft in the face, moves off your leg, and has a good woah and back up. He can ride one or two handed. Toast is as close to bombproof as you can get. He isn’t spooky and takes on new things with a confident mind. He will ride out alone or with others. He has wonderful ground manners too. He stands tied, bathes, good with his feet, and loads and hauls quietly. Toast gets along great with other horses, mares and geldings, and tends to be in the middle to the bottom of the herd. Toast has been barefoot for the last four years with no issue and does not require any maintenance. He does have a couple cosmetic blemishes on his upper front legs from when he was a baby. They do not affect his soundness whatsoever. Toast is a barn favorite here and is the kind of gelding you can ride and enjoy without stress or worry!
