JD Quarter Horses LLC – Now Hiring (Paid Position)



JD Quarter Horses is looking for a reliable, experienced individual to join for a spring through fall position, with potential to extend if wanting to stay longer.



This is a hands-on role in a working, breeding and performance program. There is always something to do, and I expect someone who can step in and work, not be micromanaged.



Daily Responsibilities Include:

• Stall and pasture cleaning

• Feeding and watering

• Hauling horses & general driving (must be confident and capable)

• Assisting with vet trips and care

• Holding mares during breeding

• Handling mares, foals, and a stallion

• Light riding on select horses

• General ranch help, including working cattle when needed



Housing:

• Temporary housing provided in a Living Quarters trailer

• Tiny home will be available soon



Requirements:

• 18 years or older

• Valid driver’s license

• Clean record

• Strong, hands-on horse experience (this is not a beginner position)

• Comfortable handling mares, foals, and stallions

• Experience around cattle is a plus

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently



Additional Info:

• One personal horse allowed

• No dogs, no kids, this is not a family position

• Small operation, but busy—we take pride in high-level care and expect the same

• We treat people like family, but this is a no-nonsense, work-first environment
