Description:
A solid, athletic gelding with a great foundation.



Smart, sound, athletic, and wants/needs a job. He would do great with an intermediate/advanced rider who can be consistent with him. He’s super cowy and would do great sorting, as a heel horse, trail horse, or for a hunter who has big mountain days. He’s extremely tough.



Just shy of 15h (quarter of an inch less than 15h) stands for farrier although he is barefoot now and has been for awhile (his feet are beautiful and only require trims-I only put on front shoes if I know we will be going into the mountains for a long day but I had him shod with full sets when I first got him so I know he has no issues while getting shod) loads and unloads, stands for vet/shots (UTD), only looks for things to spook at when he hasn’t been ridden in awhile and is feeling fresh.



Easy keeper! Does great on grass hay and pasture only! I give him nothing else right now and he’s healthy as can be.



Has pushed cattle, trails in the mountains and desert, worked in a feedlot, been to a barrel clinic, time only, and exhibition, can be ridden bareback, has had ropes thrown off him, low position in the herd.



Only injury he has had was a skin deep laceration on his left hind end. He got stitches, healed perfectly and has had no issues from it but he does have a small scar.



The reason I am selling: I am looking for a closer to finished barrel horse due to my time constraints
