Description:
In search of Ranch/Feedyard hand for growing operation. We run a couple thousand head of stocker cattle and an equal size grow yard.



Responsibilities include but not limited to

Riding pens

Moving cattle

Repair and maintenance of water systems

Fence work

Doctoring

Processing

Feeding

Occasional Seasonal Harvest trucking

Light farm work on the rare occasion



This is not an outright cowboy position. We are looking for longterm commitment to an operation. We are pretty flexible and accomidating but cattle eat 365 days a year. We try to give every other weekend off with the weekends on usually being half days just for feeding purposes. Expected weekly hours averages around 40-50 hours but there are slow times and busy times that swing that +/- 5 hours. We take care of our guys, primary reporting would be to Ranch Manager.
