VP HOT MEDAL “Jay” is a 5 year old blue roan mare standing at 14.1 hands she’s small but mighty. This mare is handy and broke in all aspects. You can take her and use her all day around the ranch and she has a great start on the breakaway and heel side. She’s one that always wants to work and she aims to please. She’s a point and shoot mare who’s easy to get along with! She was broke correct with a soft face and all the feel you want in a rope mare prospect. She also has a great mind and handles everything very well.

She’s been rode through rivers, logs, ditches, trail courses, town, rodeos, and anything you could throw at one. Shes been used all day around the feedlot and doctored wheat pasture cattle. She’s our go to in the barn when it comes to a long day of work she’s got the mind and the athleticism to handle it all. She’s very well started on the heel side as well as breakaway with a very bright future in them both. She is always willing and aims to please. Jay is level headed, willing, and all business when it’s time to go to work, but still easy to be around every day. This is a mare with the talent, mind, and presence to take you somewhere.

With that she doesn’t have to be a performance horse she’s just as enjoyable outside… quiet, level headed, and confident wherever you point her. She’s been ridden countless miles on the trails with different levels of riders. Take her down the trail, through rough country, water, brush, or new places she handles it all with ease.
