Description:
Check out this big, gorgeous, ranchy, red roan gelding! Bonanza is such a nice horse. Amateur friendly and uncomplicated to ride. He’s had riders of all levels on him, proving his tolerant and forgiving mind. Easy to catch, gentle on the ground.

He has a very smooth, rocking-horse lope, plus a responsive, easy spin, sidepass, stop, back up, and steering. He’s willing through transitions at a walk, trot or lope. He’s comfortable with a rope and will drag a log or tarp or any other object we’ve asked him to.

Bonanza also is confident handling a gate, carrying a flag, crossing water, etc. Great on the obstacle course and is curious and willing to try new things.

And as a cherry on top, he’s got the lay down cue and mounting block cue. So, no matter where you are on the trail or at home, you can snap your fingers and he’ll sidepass up to the mounting block, fence or tree stump so you can climb on with ease!

Ride him saddled or bareback. Bridled or in a halter. Alone or with other horses. Bonanza has done it all.

He’s also comfortable being stalled or turned out. He’s got great manners for the farrier and loves his baths!

We’ve owned bonanza since he was a weanling. We know everything about him. He’s always been 100% sound and has really great bone and feet. He’s been barefoot his whole life and rides sound across all terrain (including gravel).

No buck, no funny business, no vices. He’s a solid horse all the way around, and if we had to describe him in one word, it would be “gentleman”.
