Caddy has seen more of the world than most horses twice her age. She’s packed dudes all over the wild country of Yellowstone, carried riders from age 2 to 70, and handled every bit of it with patience and grace. She’s gathered and sorted cattle, dragged calves at brandings, crossed rivers and suspension bridges, and led pack strings through steep, rocky, and mountainous country. She’s sure-footed, steady, and always thinking about where she’s putting her feet. This mare is solid in camp. She hobbles, stays put, and has spent nights tied and loose in camp without a fuss. She’s been used to pony colts, pack game, and even wrangling horses back to camp in the dark of midnight. Caddy has also seen her share of ’busy’ situations like parades, traffic, and dogs underfoot, and takes it all with that same calm demeanor. Caddy is the kind of horse that adjusts to her rider. For a beginner, she’s quiet, forgiving, and steady as they come. For a hand who knows their way around a horse, she’s ready to go to work.
