Full-Time Seasonal Wrangler Position | April 15 – October 15 | North Central Colorado

Grand River Ranch is seeking a motivated, self-driven full-time Seasonal Wrangler to help manage and care for a herd of 15 horses at our privately operated Owner’s Association Equestrian Center in north central Colorado.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a private, non-public setting focused on quality horsemanship and personalized riding experiences for property owners and their guests.

Key Responsibilities:

•Daily care and management of a 15-horse herd

•Maintaining high standards of horsemanship, safety, and horse welfare

•Safely guide memorable horseback adventures for a wide range of skill levels

•Independent barn operations and facility oversight

•Additional duties may include but are not limited to fire mitigation, landscaping, and food & beverage support

Qualifications:

•Strong horsemanship skills and confident handling of horses

•Outstanding interpersonal skills and safety-oriented mindset

•Strong hospitality background

•Openness to a variety of tasks with a positive attitude

•Comfortable operating small equipment

•Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated

•Manage a flexible schedule around guest reservations and projects

•Ability to work long hours outdoors with various weather conditions and physical labor



Compensation:

•$20+/hour DOE

•Limited tips

•Unique housing arrangement may be available for the right candidate
