See three mountain ranges from your front porch. 10 minutes to country store and 45 minutes to major city. Great school system in a nice ranch community. Full time employment for a couple (one or both), a family or a single person. An older active couple would be welcome. Primary requirements are dependability and positive attitude. We are completing an indoor arena and barn and need some help to either free us up to finish these projects and/or can assist with them. When the arenas is completed, we will be hosting ropings, practices and clinics to the public. We travel to shows so will need coverage for feeding while we are gone. Horse care experience necessary. Must be able to doctor, spot illnesses and injuries. Must be organized and able to address priorities and the weather to come up with a productive schedule for the day. Must be able to work alone or along side others. Long term, year round employment. Flexible work week as long as we are here to fill in. Job Description Livestock Feed/water/care – 40 horses, 15 roping steers, 4 cats, 20 chickens 2x/day 4 Stalls to clean Ranch maintenance and fence repair Pasture maintenance Run machinery – skidsteer, backhoe, tractor – we move our hay and clean our pens with machines. Building Maintenance and repair Landscape maintenance/mowing Preferred experience Handyman skills Welding Construction – framing, plumbing, electrical Heavy equipment operation Helpful experience - Be able to help with any of these increases the salary we can offer. Photography Videography Horse exercising Colt Starting Halter breaking Foaling Vet tech Farrier Compensation to include: Very nice and new 3 bedroom 1 ½ bath ranch house – furnished or not as needed. 6 day work week. Vehicle for ranch business. Electric, propane and wifi included. Salary review after 60 days. Salary dependent on your job skills.
