Description:
Custom hay operation based out of Silver Lake, OR is hiring 1–2 dependable part-time employees for the upcoming 2026 hay season.



Location: Silver Lake, OR

Season: Summer 2026 (weather dependent)

Pay: Starting at $17–$21/hour depending on experience.

Hours: Part-time with flexible scheduling; longer days during peak harvest windows.



Possible Duties Include:

• Assist with haying operations including swathing, raking, baling, stacking, and hauling.

• Work with both round bales and 3x4 large square bales.

• Operate a mix of newer and older equipment (John Deere, Case, New Holland).

• General farm work and basic equipment maintenance



What We’re Looking For:

• Reliable and shows up on time

• Willing to work long hours in hot, dusty conditions when needed

• Equipment operation experience preferred (tractors, balers, loaders), but willing to train the right person

• Valid driver’s license required (CDL is a plus, not required)

• Safety-minded and able to follow direction
