First off, thank you for taking the time to look at my post.

My family and I are looking for a unique situation and are hopeful that we will find it here.

A little about us. We are moving back to Washington state from Ohio by August 2026. We have an established dog training business (www.wolfmanscanines.com) that we started in Washington in 2021 and have since expanded our operation to a 7 acre homestead in Galena, Ohiom

We have a flock of 50+ chickens, rabbits, ducks, turkeys, geese, and sheep. We raise them as food for us and our pack of 7 dogs. We also have a 20x40 garden and a multitude of naturally occurring vegetables, fruits, and herbs around the property.

My wife, business partner, etc is the co-owner and handles a majority of our backend communication, including HR, scheduling, and billing. When she’s not raising our 3 year old daughter, she’s often helping with the chicken chores, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or continuing to study for her canine nutrition certification. She’s spent a majority of her working career running other peoples restaurants and health clinics.

Our daughter is a feral, red headed farm kid. Who’s perfect day includes spending time with every bird she’s named Rosie (about 5), playing in her mud kitchen, or asking "why" when my wife and I are doing anything.

My names Walter, and I do all of the dog training and a majority of the heavy lifting on the property. My day starts with letting out anywhere between 2 and 6 dogs I am training, and then straight to the barn to take care of the livestock. Depending on the day, I will have clients from noon till 6pm, and will take care of whatever project takes presidence in between appointments.

My construction and mechanical abilities come from years of working in the industry. My specialty is electrical (commercial,residential, and solar) and have enough hours and schooling to get licensed. I’ve done plumbing, carpentry, dry wall, flooring (hardwood and pergo). I am the only person who works on our vehicles and equipment unless I dont have a specialty tool, and would rather buy the tool then spend the money to have someone else do it.

Neither of us come from a family who farmed so all of our knowledge and skills are self taught. I have little experience with cattle and pigs outside of basic care. I have only been on a horse once. I process our birds and have done chickens, turkeys, and ducks. All by hand.

We are looking to broaden our business from dog training and start to feed our community and dogs differently. Ideally your using regenerative agricultural practices and dont focus on a single crop. Not owned by a mega corporation. Have the room for me to board dogs (1-3 max) in a training program. A separate living area for the 3 humans and 7 dogs. Willingness to teach green horns the ropes, knowing we are looking to do this as a lifestyle and not as a job. Anywhere within 1-2 hours of Camano island, Washington is perfect.

Able to pay rent should the hours around the ranch/farm not be enough.
