If interested, call Brandon and apply here: https://recruiting2.ultipro.com/GRA1027GAMH/JobBoard/b3adb8ef-2821-4e02-b766-f5d098ff7a0a/Opportunity/OpportunityDetail?opportunityId=2583a390-f14d-41f5-a5a0-1d5d1d343446 Responsibilities: •Equipment Maintenance oConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on ranch machinery and vehicles. oDiagnose and efficiently repair mechanical issues to minimize downtime. •Infrastructure Maintenance oEnsure the operational readiness of wells, housing structures, outbuildings, and other Ranch infrastructure. oSupervise maintenance schedules to prevent issues and address them promptly. •Fence Construction and Repair oLead in the construction and repair of fences to secure ranch boundaries and enclosures. oInspect and reinforce existing fencing structures for optimal functionality. •Assistance in Livestock and Farm Work oWillingly contribute to livestock handling and other farm-related tasks as needed. Collaborate with Ranch staff to accomplish various agricultural activities. •Team Collaboration oWork independently or as part of a team, depending on the demands of the task. Communicate effectively with other ranch personnel to coordinate repairs and maintenance. Qualifications: •Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in a ranch or agricultural setting. •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in various types of equipment. •Knowledge of well maintenance procedures and infrastructure upkeep. •Proficiency in construction and repair of fences. •Willingness and ability to assist with livestock and farm work. •Capability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. •Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements: •Lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently; occasionally heavier loads (e.g., feed bags, fencing materials, tools, or equipment parts). •Walk long distances over uneven, muddy, or sloped terrain across fields, pastures, or ranch grounds. •Stand, crouch, or kneel for extended periods during inspections, repairs, or manual labor tasks. •Sit for prolonged periods while operating vehicles, equipment, or performing administrative tasks. •Climb onto and off of machinery, platforms, ladders, or fencing. •Maintain balance and flexibility on uneven surfaces or while working at height. •Reach, handle, and manipulate tools, animals, or mechanical controls with arms and hands. •Use fine and gross motor skills for tasks requiring coordination, precision, or strength. •See clearly at close range and at a distance to observe livestock, machinery, or hazards. •Hear and respond to warning signals, equipment sounds, or verbal instructions in noisy outdoor environments. •Operate foot and hand controls simultaneously with strong hand-eye-foot coordination. •Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, or snow. •Tolerate prolonged exposure to dust, dirt, chemicals, manure, hay, and agricultural by-products. •Endure vibration and noise from machinery or tools for extended periods. •Work long or irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays during.
