One that’s truly trained and comes highly recommended, we call him Rambo! He’s brought a rider to high school nationals in the reining cow horse twice. Rambo has won money heeling steers in the team roping and not only is he an outstanding cow horse and heel horse but he is also phenomenal to head steers and breakaway rope off of too! He scores great? rates great and we cannot say enough good things about him in the roping pen or for that matter in general. He may be great at all of that but he is also an outstanding ranch horse and he will work all day tagging calves and sorting cattle in the feed lot. You can open and shut just about any gate on him. He is enjoyable to sort on and won’t let one by him. The best part is he’s so highly trained that you can do all that bareback and with a string around his neck! He will leave 11s in the dirt when he stops, and he will burn a hole in the ground spinning. Ranch can short lope right off from a standstill, rides levelheaded and quiet no matter the environment. One day you can enter a jackpot and the next you can put a little kid on him in a play day, and he’ll bring checks home both days. Not only can he be a high-end performance horse, but he is a great gentle horse to go out and enjoy on an all-day long trail ride and absolutely anyone can ride him!! Rambo will go through, around, and into everything you point him at. You could call this horse a necessity to have in your barn. He is totally sound with absolutely no buck or rear or bad habits. He is as gentle and athletic as they come. Being around him you’ll never doubt that with his calm demeanor and great ground manners.
