14 year old GRADE Gelding Ranch/Rope/Using horse. I’ve used him since he was 3 every week in stockyards and pastures and pens and occasional midnight highway catch jobs. There is absolutely nothing he hasn’t seen and done. He has also competed in stock horse competitions and ranch rodeos and jackpot team ropings as a head horse. Used extensively in mesquite brush and cactus as well as piney woods and coastal marshes. He won’t be outran and can handle anything you can pitch a rope on. He is a professional at working a rope if you step off to tie a cow down or hold her while you walk back to your pick up or any other situation you might find yourself in. He works any kind of gates and sorts off leg pressure and will pull like hell when necessary. He can go all day and night in a long trot. No buck no bad habits- bomb proof- perfect for handy young kid/teenager but not a starter horse. Knows his job whether he’s being rode 6 days a week or once every 6 months Easy keeper on grass,stands for farrier, 100%sound, remuda kept, rarely ever stalled, never cribbed or colicked
