Description:
Experienced ranch hand looking for a long-term opportunity on a good cattle operation in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Oregon, or Nevada.



I grew up on a ranch and grain farm and have spent most of my life around livestock and equipment. Ranching is something I truly enjoy and take a lot of pride in.



I’m confident horseback and can ride and rope. I have experience with calving, doctoring, reading cattle, spotting sickness early, and knowing when a calf needs to be pulled. I’m comfortable handling cattle in the pasture, pens, or at the chute.



I can operate most ranch equipment including tractors, loaders, haying equipment, and other machinery. I also TIG weld, do basic mechanics, build and repair fence, and handle general ranch maintenance. I can trim and shoe horses as well.



I’m reliable, easy to work with, organized, and not afraid of long hours or rough weather. I work well independently but also get along well with a crew.



I own four good ranch horses and two crate-trained dogs that stay home.



I would need housing and would really appreciate the opportunity to run a small herd of my own cattle if possible.
