This is a full-time seasonal position (May–October) with opportunities to work in a dynamic and team-oriented ranch setting. Our guides play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences while upholding the values of safety, integrity, ride for the brand, be a good neighbor, good stockmanship, and stewardship that define our ranch. Key Responsibilities Guiding & Guest Experience: Lead guests on day rides and overnight horseback experiences in the beautiful Wyoming backcountry. Provide a welcoming, safe, and educational experience for all guests while promoting western agriculture and ranching. Horse Care & Management: Assist in daily horse care, including feeding, saddling, grooming, and managing herd health. Match guests with appropriate horses based on their experience levels. Team Collaboration: Work alongside fellow guides, cooks, and ranch staff to ensure smooth operations. Be willing to assist with general ranch tasks as needed. Safety & Stewardship: Prioritize guest and livestock safety at all times. Educate guests on proper horsemanship and backcountry etiquette. Ideal Candidate Strong horseback riding skills with experience guiding or packing in the backcountry in a western riding setting. Experience working on a guest ranch is a plus. Ability to work long days in variable weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with guests of all experience levels. The ability to work both with a team and independently is a must. Every position at the ranch requires people who are self-starters. Comfortable working in a remote setting and being part of a close-knit team. Experience working with livestock and on working ranches is a plus.
