Description:
Echo is a 10 year old mustang mare from Salt Wells Creek, WY. But don’t let that make you shy away. Echo is incredibly sweet, loves to be with people. She was gentled as a 2 year old and has been rode since. Echo has lots of miles under her and it shows. Echo has been rode both western and English. She has been primarily used as a trail horse, but not just the walk tail to tail kind of trail riding. Echo is use to trotting and even loping down a trail when asked. Her incredibly smooth cadence makes trotting and loping on the trail or in an open field a breeze. Echo is comfortable riding in a small group of trail riders, a large group of trail riders and even out alone. She is not timid in new surroundings and is very use to being hauled and tied.

In the spring, summer and fall Echo is rode in an outdoor arena when she is not out on the trails. In the winter and colder months, Echo is rode in an indoor arena.

Echo has also been rode and English. Although she naturally wants to carry herself low and slow, she is very easy to keep in a more extended trot. She has been rode over ground poles and even low cross rails to jump. She was eager to go over the low cross rails and gave no issues.

Echo is soft in your hands and soft on her sides. She naturally wants to carry herself low and sweep across the group. She moves off leg pressure with easy. She has a nice side pass, both directions and a nice little turn around both directions. Echo has very nice hip control and shoulder control as well. Because she is so soft and supple teaching Echo new things comes easy to her because she has all the foundation and button work done.

Echo is easy to catch outside on the pasture or in a dry lot. She is an easy keeper. Her diet consists of free choice round bale with no extra grain or supplements when she is in the dry lot, and free choice alfalfa pellets with no extra grain or supplements when she is stalled. Echo is easy going with other horses out on pasture or in the dry lot with her. She is not a bully but she also doesn’t let others bully her. She is usually right in the middle of the pecking order. Echo is a pro at tying, saddling, loading, bathing, ect.

Echo has the right kind of mind and ride to fit a lot of different people and styles. She is easy going, not a horse that needs worked down on the lunge line before you can even ride, but one you can pull out, saddle and step right on.

Echo sells 100% sound with no maintenance.
