Description:
I am currently employed on a Nevada cow-calf operation where I split my time between ranch work and office management. I am seeking a similar opportunity in central South Dakota or Nebraska to be closer to family.



Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Science with a minor in Agriculture Business

• 2 years full-time ranch hand experience

• Extensive horseback background with a little experience starting colts

• Calving heifers and cows which includes night shift, tagging, and tubing

• Roping, branding, pairing, and weaning

• Processing and doctoring cattle which includes running the chute, giving vaccinations, implanting, and helping with AI

• Fencing including ripping out, rebuilding and fixing

• Equipment operation including skid loaders, pay loaders and tractors

• I know how to weld

• Manage ranch books including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, invoicing, inventory tracking, and cattle records using QuickBooks and Excel.



I have limited trucking experience (automatic) including hauling doubles.



I am dependable, detail-oriented, and take pride in maintaining both cattle health and accurate records.



I come with two horses and one well-behaved dog and am seeking housing with the position.
