21 fall bred Salers cows for sale. Bred to calving ease Salers bulls to start calving September 1st for 60 days. About 2/3 are red, 1/3 are black. Up to date on vaccinations: 8-way, ivermax, Virashield 6, pour on. This is a very gentle set of cows out of our closed herd. Currently eating long grass hay. They are great range cows and have good maternal instincts. You’d better like them because they’ll go forever! Expect them to be raising nice calves up into their mid teens. Their ages are: 7 two year olds, 7 three year olds, 1 five, 2 sixes, 1 seven, 1 nine, 1 ten, and 1 twelve year old. Their calves also perform well in the feedlot, average daily gain of 3.5 pounds, feed conversion of 5 or 5.5 to 1, 67 percent dressout, 2/3 choice, all yield grade 1 and 2.
