Description:
I am currently looking to hire a long-term, full-time employee to help me on our ranch and farm. We are a family operation, me being the 4th generation to do it here. I have a wife and young daughter as well as a baby on the way.



We run about 150 mother cows and are currently growing the herd every year. We also farm 2250 acres, growing wheat, soybeans, canola, black beans, sunflowers, silage corn and forages for feed.



The job would consist of all things on the farm and ranch including but not limited to fixing and building fences, feeding, doctoring, working cattle, calving cows as well as heifers. Also farm jobs such as running tractors, both large and small, spraying, driving truck, combines, haying equipment and general mechanical work on tractors, trucks, and vehicles. Welding would be a huge plus but not required if you are willing to learn. Most of our equipment is fairly new, but some of it is older but well taken care of.



We currently dont utilize horses but am open to using them.



I will provide housing and utilities. I have an apartment in the neighboring town (17 miles away) that you would live in with the possibility of moving into a recently remodeled house on the ranch (my current house) when it becomes available in the next five years.



I will provide a farm pickup and gas. As well as half a beef.



I can offer $3000/month including the housing, vehicle, and beef.



I always try to give out bonuses at the end of the year as well.



Unfortunately, I cannot provide health insurance or retirement at this time.
