Description:
Silver is a 10 year old draft cross, out of bucking stock, she is big and flashy, super friendly and loves people. I have owned her since she was a foal. Marked as a Chestnut for color as that’s what her base color is but she has been genetically tested and presents as max white, she is not cremello or perlino.

Only reason for selling is I do not have the time she needs to become the horse I see that she could be, she has an incredible amount of talent and athletic ability, but she needs to be used more often than I am able to between life and work and everything and I hate seeing her just sit in the pasture and get fat and sassy. Use her and turn her into your main riding/driving horse or breed her and get some big, flashy draft cross foals.

Pros~

• Incredibly friendly, easy to catch and in your pocket.

• Sound. Stands for farrier, has been shod before but does not require it unless if in super rocky terrain and I prefer her barefoot

• Broke to ride, has been ridden on multiple day trail rides in rough terrain, worked cattle, used in a sale barn in tight areas with some pretty mean cattle and stayed sane, ridden in indoor Woking Equitation clinics and handled it well.

• Would make a nice big country horse, she can go all day. Big enough to drag calves to the fire all day or hold a big cow/bull.

• Has nice smooth, big movement, would make a decent low level dressage horse, my old trainer said she thought she would be a talented low level jumper as well, but I never started her on it.

• Not spooky or bothered by virtually anything, and if she is bothered by it she’s easily convinced that it’s not that big of a deal.

• Big and flashy enough she would be a beautiful driving horse if you chose to take her that way, if I have her until this summer she will be sent to a trainer.

• Up to date on shots and worming

• Loads and hauls well, will occasionally hesitate to get on the trailer but she’s easy to convince, has been on stock, straight load, and slant trailers.

• Has been boarded in stalls, in shared runs, as well as out in the pasture with large herds, is generally at the top end of the herd, isn’t mean to other horses, but she will not let others push her around.

• Has been around all kinds of animals, cattle, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, donkeys… etc.

Cons~

• Has gotten ulcers once before when transferred to a new location, they were easy to treat and she has not had an issue with them since but I want to be transparent.

• Will buck if not used consistently enough, generally only a few times and then will go on working without an issue.
