HP Livestock is looking for a heavy equipment operator for a ranching operation located in

Burlington, Wyoming. HP Livestock has three locations, two outside of Cody, Wy and one in

Burlington, Wy. The position will be responsible for supporting a large-scale irrigated pasture

cattle operation. Experience with operating heavy equipment is required.

Housing provided. Housing can easily accommodate single or married persons. This is a full-

time position but those seeking seasonal work can apply as well.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate grader to build and maintain ranch roads

• Clear land with dozer/grader/hoe

• Build new irrigation pipelines and stock water pipelines

• Clear fence lines with Dozer/hoe in the valley and on the Mountain.

• Operate heavy equipment to install/repair other ranch infrastructure projects

• Transport heavy equipment via lowboy to various ranch units

• Assist in hauling cattle to various ranch units in early summer.

• Assist in hauling purchased Hay and grain to the ranch headquarters

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Drivers License

• Equipment operating ability (Skid steer, Loader, Excavator, Dozer, dump truck, lowboy,

grader)

• Able to move/lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs.

We are looking for a career-oriented individual who is interested in a long-term position.

Persons looking for a seasonal contract are also encouraged to apply. Burlington, Wyoming is a

quiet and friendly, family-oriented ranching/farming community with fantastic schools. The operation is located 5 minutes out of town.

This is a full-time salaried position. The Ranch provides Workers compensation insurance,

health insurance contribution, vision, dental, ranch beef and life insurance.
