Retired ? Looking for a home base in northern New Mexico? Seeking part-time ( 2 days a week ) ranch hand / caretaker / handyman in exchange for one bedroom casita on a ranch in northern New Mexico . Full salary available when owner travels which is usually 2 weeks every other month.

Ranch hand duties include feeding , grooming stall cleaning , farrier help for 6 horses. Must have basic equine knowledge. This is not a riding job.

Feeding and caring for cattle , donkey and chickens.

Feeding , exercising and caring for 2 groups of high drive dogs.

Caretaking duties include basic maintenance, landscaping , watering trees, maintaining fences and buildings.

Equipment maintenance.

Must know how to operate a tractor and drive a truck and trailer . Must have a valid D.L. And personal vehicle .

Non smoking , pets considered. References required.
