Description:
Looking to hire for either full time or part time on a central coast of California ranch, housing is provided if need be. Can be a couple or single person, animals okay too. Can be long term or short term. (Location is Nipomo/Santa Maria California)

A lot of upward mobility is available in the business.





We own a goat/sheep targeted grazing company for fire prevention with about 5 herds comprised of about 2,500 head.



We also run cattle but that is not our main business.





Looking for someone responsible, trustworthy and hardworking. Work includes helping load/trailer animals, vaccinating, general ranch work fixing things, logistically supporting the full time goat herders and their needs.





Depending on your experience this job is part managing herders to working on day to day operations with the animals.



We can teach what you need to know about animals we really need someone who can drive with a stock trailer, fix things, be responsible, team player and can help with operations.



Valuable traits are driving with a trailer, animal care, mechanical knowledge and general ranch repair type stuff.





We are 10 minutes from a large town that has a community college and a Costco (Santa Maria) 20 minutes from the beach with good surf (Pismo Beach).



Housing if wanted is on 600 acre family ranch, we are easy going and enjoy community.
