If you are looking for a nice, young, well broke gelding to use on the ranch, ride on trails, or make a performance horse out of, then take a look at Chuckwagon. He is an excellent ranch horse, broke to do every job on the ranch, with an exceptional mind and quiet, laid back temperament that makes him an excellent trail horse. Chuckwagon is 9 years old and 15hh, nicely built with a kind eye and four black feet. He came off of a really good cowboy who day worked on him for years, and was broke the right way, with an excellent neck rein and all the buttons you want in a ranch horse. He’s old man gentle, currently being ridden by a 74 year old man. You can head and heel on him, drag calves in the branding pen, and doctor yearlings in the wheat pasture. Chuckwagon is gentle and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and has no other bad habits. He has the smoothest trot you could sit to all day long and never get sore, and is responsive and easy to get along with. He is good on both leads, will sidepass, spin around and work a gate. Chuckwagon will go anywhere you point him, whether its through water, thick brush, or up and down hills, he is very sure footed. He has excellent ground manners, is easy to catch, good for the shoer, stands quietly tied, and loads and hauls well. He will ride out alone as well as with a group and has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $15000.
