Description:
Remote irrigated hay farm and cattle operation looking for a diversified, honest and dependable all-round hand. Must have experience with hay production, irrigation systems and cattle. Will work directly with Ranch Manager to achieve operational goals.



Hay production includes high quality alfalfa and other feed from planting to harvest. Must be able to operate and maintain equipment: tractors, swather, rake, baler, etc.



Primary irrigation is pivots, with some wheel lines, gated pipe and flood. Must be able to maintain all components and troubleshoot pumps, pipelines, ditches, etc.



Cattle operation includes a small cow calf herd and a small feedlot for weaning/backgrounding. Must be able to sort, doctor, manage feed inventories and rations, and provide supplements.



General ranch maintenance includes fencing, cleaning pens, welding, overall care and repair of ranch buildings and facilities.



Great long term opportunity for someone who is hardworking, has a good attitude and willing to be a team player. Looking for a self-starter with problem solving skills and a strong work ethic.



Salary and housing with a great benefit package including insurance and a 401K. Background check and drug test required.
