Arnold is a 9-year-old registered AQHA buckskin gelding that is as thick made and handsome as they come. He spent time on the same Paramount sets as "Mo" (our paramount retired legendary paint gelding who just sold last month). Arnold was selected to work on a couple of different sets, after going through the same type of testing and training required for film work on productions like Yellowstone. Horses don’t make it onto those strings by accident, and Arnold proved himself to be the kind of steady, dependable mount that could be trusted day in and day out around a busy set. Outside of the lights and cameras, Arnold is enjoyable to have around for many jobs and is always easy to get along with. He’s extremely gentle to ride out, very amateur-friendly, and has a smooth, comfortable gait that makes him easy to sit and easy to get along with for a wide range of riders. He’s the kind that you have to pedal to get a trot and Lope out of in the arena, and he’s amazing for amateurs to ride outside in the open as he just pitter-patters along and you can just sit there relax and enjoy the ride without having to worry about him getting away from you. He handles himself well in new environments, stays level-headed, and is happy to go about his job without needing a lot of management. Arnold has a great look, a solid mind, and a unique background that sets him apart from your average family, pleasure, or trail riding horse. He’s been exposed to commotion, traffic, and pressure, and has proven himself to be the same consistent individual whether he’s at work or at home.
