Ya’ll gather round, Grease is coming to town! Fancy, Brown, will get in the ground, and can absolutely turn it around. If you’ve been on the hunt for a beautiful, well-rounded, personable, kind, broke, and gentle gelding…look no further. Grease checks all the boxes and then some. Standing 14.3 hands tall and weighing in at 1300 lbs, Grease is a handsome, built-to-last, prime aged gelding! Grease started his riding career in a phenomenal working cow horse program and has been shown in the Stock Horse of Texas, as well as, several of the Texas Tech Ranch Horse Team shows. We’ve also used Grease for our everyday chores. Riding pens in the preconditioning feedyard, shipping cattle, doctoring wheat pasture cattle, sorting, whatever is on the agenda, Grease is always happy to tackle the job ahead. What makes this horse so fun is after you get done using him, you can take him to the arena, bridle him up, and you’re now riding one that’s got ALL the cool show buttons. Grease catches his leads, will twirl like a top in his turn arounds, stops with his tailhead in the dirt, and will LAY DOWN on a cow. Grease has tons of expression on a cow and does it, because he loves it. He comes with all the fancy buttons, but what truly sets this gelding apart is his disposition. He LOVES people. He’s got the biggest, sweetest personality of any horse in our barn. He meets you at the gate to be caught and saddles up gentle every single time, no matter the time off. Grease rides out by himself or in a group, loads/unloads himself on the trailer, is great with his feet for the farrier, and has no vices whatsoever. He even keeps his stall clean, that’s how uncomplicated he is. He is a more whoa than go, type of horse, travels smooth, low headed, and between the bridle reins. 100% SOUND and SANE! We would love for you to come try Grease before the sale, or come meet him onsite. You will leave with a heart full of happy after you meet him.
