Description:
Roku is a 6 year old registered gelding that is as enjoyable to ride as he is useful to have around. He is gentle, confident, and honest with absolutely no buck or funny business. Roku has been exposed to the full scope of ranch work. He has run down and pasture roped calves to tag and doctor, and he will stand quietly and hold one when asked. He covers country with a beautiful extended trot, has a cute rocking chair lope, and has the speed to reach out and get the job done when needed. Just as importantly, he is not antsy and will stay in a walk if that’s what you ask for! No constant pushing or pulling. Roku rides one handed, side passes to open and shut gates, and will ride up to a mounting block for easy mounting and dismounting. He lopes nice circles and has a very user friendly handle. Out on the trail he doesn’t care if you’re with a group or by yourself he will ride the same. On the ground, he is extremely sweet with a positive attitude. He is good to catch, follows right behind you without trying to outwalk you, ties patiently, stands for fly spray, saddling, bathing, hoof care, and shoeing. He genuinely enjoys grooming days and attention. Roku is the kind that is enjoyable every single day! Happy to hold Roku for up to a week free of charge!
