Popeye sure is a good looking gelding! He is a 12 year old grade bay roan gelding standing at 15 hands tall and weighing 1150 pounds. Popeye is a thick built horse with great confirmation… he has a thick neck, is big boned, and has clean solid legs. He is a gorgeous bay roan with kind eyes and a big heart. He’s always interested in what his people are doing and waits for his daily loving. He loves his people and is also great with other horses. Turn him out in a big pasture with a herd and he’ll walk up to the fence to say hi and let you catch him with ease. Popeye is not only good looking but he is great to ride! He is a gelding who got started right that’s for sure. He is a one hand broke broke gelding with a good turn around and solid stop. He neck reins with ease and responds to your leg great. He is a solid right hand man horse you can take him and do anything with him… we sure have! He is one of our barn favorites! We have used him to doctor wheat cattle, sort cows, spent lots of time at the feed lot, roped off of, tagged calves, rode through town, trail rode more miles than we can keep track of! He’ll side pass to gates and has all the fancy buttons! He will walk over anything, ride through anything, and put up with anything! He is an anybody horse and anybody for sure will enjoy him! He has a solid steady mind that makes him great to use as your all around horse! No matter what you decide to do with him he’ll keep up! We can board the horse free of charge for 10 days. After the 10 days it’s $20 a day. Will help arrange transport anywhere in the U.S.A
