Haying: Yes Room And Board: Preferably Description: Experienced Ranch Manager and Hay Operations Professional Seeking a long-term, year-round position with a working ranch or farm. Live-in or housing-provided positions preferred. I bring over twelve years of hands-on experience managing daily ranch and hay operations, livestock care, equipment operation, and full property maintenance. My background includes five years as a live-in Ranch Manager under formal contract on a working Colorado ranch, as well as owning and operating a custom hay farming business for twelve years. Hay production experience covers the full cycle: cutting, raking, baling, stacking, and all equipment upkeep. Equipment: Extensive experience operating and maintaining tractors, balers, disk mowers, sprayers, loaders, backhoes, and related ranch and farm equipment. Comfortable working independently without supervision. Livestock: Cattle and equine care, including daily feeding, handling, basic health monitoring, and general livestock support. Also experienced with llamas and yaks. Certifications: • Champion Genetics Cattle AI/Palpation Certified (2024) • Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) — Cow-Calf Certified (2024) • ServSafe Food Handler Certified (valid through 2027) • Bookkeeping Technician — Delta-Montrose Technical College Property and facility maintenance: Fencing, groundskeeping, weed control, pond upkeep, general repairs, landscape maintenance, and snow removal. Additional experience supporting HVAC, safety and security systems, inventory, and purchasing. Kitchen: Commercial kitchen experience as prep and line cook. ServSafe certified. Happy to assist with meal preparation, kitchen operations, and sanitation in ranch or lodge settings. I am dependable, self-motivated, and accustomed to physically demanding work in all weather conditions.
