ISO: Ranch Foreman/Manager/Hand position

Looking for a ranch in the Montana/Wyoming area that values their employees, their program and their ranch. Ideally a cow/calf operation but would be open to others, not looking to do row crops but have no issue haying. It is important to me that the ranch has integrity, dedication and a good work ethic. Family oriented is a MUST.

What I bring: A diversity of knowledge from working on a variety of different outfits. Years of experience operating all varieties of heavy equipment, basic mechanic skills, welding experience, fire mitigation and fighting experience, logging experience, carpentry skills, road maintenance, water line repairs along with the ability to install water tanks of varying types. Management experience in several aspects; I have managed groups of varying sizes on different projects over the years as well as my own division of a ranch. I have experience in every aspect of a cow/calf operation, and seedstock operations. I am no stranger to fencing and have no problems with it, even in rough terrain. I’ve calved out heifers and cows. I am proficient on a 4wheeler and/or side by side, can ride but prefer not to. My wife can and will if that is needed. Not specifically looking for a horseback outfit, would ideally like a mixture of both if possible. I am a dedicated employee and believe in a strong work ethic, treating others how you want to be treated and taking care of things. I don’t like fixing things so I prefer to avoid that by taking care. I believe in working smarter, not harder.

What I am looking for: Honest, hardworking employer with no drama, drugs or alcohol. Family friendly is important. I do have children (older) as well as a wife. My wife would love the opportunity to help (she is just as experienced and also has managerial experience) when needed. Animal friendly as we do have pets; 3 working dogs, 3 horses. We are not opposed to remote living as that’s what we’ve always done. Our kids are homeschooled. Housing would need to be at least a 3bdrm.
