My wife and I are seeking a ranch that is looking for a dedicated couple with Christian values. Who both have experience in working small and larger sized ranches. We currently reside in the state of Missouri. We would be willing and able to relocate permanently. The states that we are looking at are Arizona and New Mexico. Both of us have worked in these states and prefer the conditions, we are looking for a permanent location rather than just seasonal work. We would be able to come and visit, which would allow both parties to see if we are a good fit. My name is Travis and I have ranch hand, and wrangler/packing experience. Experience with overseeing 40+ horses. Also, with herdsman/cowpoke experience moving, sorting, branding and doctoring cattle. I have farrier background/experience. Along with mechanical skills and a background working on heavy equipment as a Caterpillar Technician. Along with trucks (gas and diesel) and blacksmithing. Experience with water irrigation and well systems. My significant other and I are interested in relocating to the right environment, with a broader scale of acreage, cattle, horses, and lifestyle. I am in the hopes of a landing a long-term permanent career prospect. I would like to further increase my skillset and knowledge, while being challenged with more responsibilities. And just be able to relax and feel accomplished after a hard day’s labor. I am a fast learner, take orders easily and promise I will pick up on how you want things done and strive to make your life easier. What you have described in your listing is the ideal situation I would love to find myself in day to day. I know I can do this job if given the opportunity. My Wife Maddy, also has experience caring and managing 30+ horses, from everyday ranch horses to high end show horses. She is comfortable both in the saddle and on ground work. She has run team ropings, from working the cattle to dragging and setting an ideal arena. Experienced trail riding in the mountains and wrangling. With 7+ years in customer service in all restaurant settings, housekeeping, and laundry. She wants to be involved in any way she can, while still caring for our 5 month old daughter.
