I am the Leather Shop supervisor for a prison program located in Canon City, CO. This program has been around since 1983, and we have successfully been building saddles, tack, and more since then. Prison made equipment is some of the most sough after western pieces you can have, because of the quality, and I am coming here to offer it to you! We have an array of saddles in stock, all hand made, hand tooled, with leather sourced from the United States as well. These saddles are built to last, every stitch, rise in the ground seat, and stirrup fender shaped with skill. From our own designs such as the CCI Working Cowboy saddle, to our square skirt Wade tree designs, they are built to last, provide comfort, and look good while doing it. These are just some of the items we have in stock, if you’re interested in purchasing any of these saddles, or if you’re looking for custom gear, we’ve got it handled! Maybe you have your own company and are looking to out source production? We do that too! We have been building at a production level, with the highest quality saddles for many well known saddle companies, some for 15+ years. So, if you’re looking to not only support a great program, and want long lasting, well made, western gear, look no further. This is a cash funded program, no grants, and no legislations fund our programs. All compensation for the skilled inmates comes from what we sell, as well as all our program supervisors.
