Job Summary The Ranch Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of ranch facilities, equipment, and grounds. This position performs a wide range of hands-on maintenance tasks including welding, plumbing, landscaping, and equipment care. This role is strictly focused on property and equipment maintenance. This individual will be asked to work independently and in a team setting. Great communication skills, both written and verbal, along with being forward thinking and driven, are a must. This individual will also be asked to lift objects that weight 70lbs or more. All outlines are subject to change at the discretion of the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance on ranch buildings, fences, gates, and infrastructure • Weld, fabricate, and repair metal components as needed • Maintain ranch grounds including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping • Conduct basic plumbing repairs and maintenance (pipes, fixtures, leak repair) • Wash, clean, and maintain ranch equipment, vehicles, and machinery • Perform general repairs including carpentry, painting, and minor construction projects • Inspect property and equipment for safety issues and repair needs • Maintain tools and work areas in safe, clean, and organized condition • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks efficiently Qualifications & Experience • Experience in property, facility, ranch, farm, or equipment maintenance preferred • Welding experience required • Working knowledge of plumbing systems (Poly Pipe and PVC) • Ability to operate lawn equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely • Ability to drive a tractor with loader and skid steer (Excavator and Dozer are a plus) • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
