Cow calf outfit set in the Blackfoot Valley of Western Montana is looking for a Herdsman.



Qualified applicants will desire low-stress stockman ship, be able to ride horseback daily to perform their job, often in mountainous terrain. This position will focus on the cattle herd as well as managing the ranches saddle horses. You will over see seasonal H2A cowboys, under the direction of the ranch manager. The position requires the ability and willingness to pitch in on all general ranch duties from time to time and with seasonal changes. If you love being in the saddle, are focused on breeding quality cattle, have a passion for environmental stewardship, and are content to live 70 miles from the nearest Walmart, we’d love to hear from you.
