Description:
Looking to hire a qualified ranch hand for our cow/calf and yearling operation that runs spring through fall in Sprague River, Oregon then down to California for the winter, or the right candidate can stay in Oregon year round.



The ideal candidate should have knowledge of all aspects of ranching to include: flood irrigation/ minimal wheel line operations, build and maintain fences and crossings, management and proper treatment of cattle, basic mechanics/welding, and equipment operations.



Cattle handling is done primarily horseback (head and heel at brandings, doctoring in the field) requiring the candidate to be a solid horseman. Applicants generally bring their own horses to accomplish the job, and shoe their own; this is not a requirement as company horses and other accommodations are available.



Benefits of the position include a company provided vehicle, trailer, and ATV for ranch use, housing and utilities, medical benefits, feeding of a few personal horses.
