Job Summary:

Fall River Feedyard, LLC is seeking a dependable Mechanic Assistant to support our Head Mechanic in maintaining and repairing feedyard equipment and vehicles. This position plays a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by performing basic maintenance, assisting with repairs, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.



Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Mechanic with diagnosing equipment issues and performing maintenance and repairs



- Perform basic maintenance tasks including oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and routine services



- Organize, clean, and maintain tools and shop equipment to ensure they are in proper working order



- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment



- Safely operate and move feedyard vehicles and equipment



Qualifications:

- Previous experience in mechanical work or maintenance is preferred but not required



- Ability to work safely and follow instructions



- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills



- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment



- Valid driver’s license required
