Description:
We’re hiring!!! Gooseberry Creek Ranch is seeking an all around, full time ranch hand to join us. This is not a full time riding job, but we spend a fair share horseback in the spring and fall moving pairs/yearlings and branding in the spring. We strive for excellence and are attention/detail oriented. We have zero haying but we irrigate. We are seeking an employee that will fall in with us and be happy doing all that it takes to run a ranch.

This is what we can offer you:

- Good housing with all utilities

- Feed and a place to keep 3-5 horses

- Ranch provided corn fed beef after 6 months

- good dogs welcome

Things you should be willing to do are:

- rope proficiently and identify sickness in cattle

- irrigation(gated pipe, pivots, & occasional flood )

- waterline and stock tanks maintenance

- run equipment ( tractor, backhoe, skid-steer)

- fence (new and old)

- light mechanical work (oil changes, replacing parts)

- welding



We are willing to teach some and don’t expect a professional in all categories but prefer some experience in the trade. Pay is dependent upon experience as well as the number of horses we will allow.
