Description:
Hi there! We are the Porters. Jacob (29 yo) Kellie (32yo) and we have three children under 5. We have 5 head of horses and two dogs (with kennels). We are a faith based family trying to find the right place to call home. We are a non smoking and non drinking family. We’re looking for a cowboy job with big rough country. We prefer remote living. We have a wall tent that we don’t mind staying in during summer months when needed. Wanting to be in New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Utah, or Oklahoma.



Jacob- I have extensive knowledge on all things cattle. I am the 6th generation of being in the cattle industry. I have worked big country, been on a couple wagons, feed lots, wild cow catching gigs, and managed a couple ranches. Really handy with a rope and a go-getter. Willing to fix fence and waters whatever needs to be done. Just like the chance to ride my horses when there is opportunity. I am able to shoe my own stock and ranch stock if needed. I have packing and colt starting experience. There is always room to broaden my horizon and build my skill set.



Kellie- I am kind of an all around gal. Put me where you need me, when you need, if you need me kind of person. I can cook, clean, gather, brand, vaccinate, process cattle, book keeping, advertising, and working on my roping skills. Hard to do some things with the kids but love to be part of the action.





We love this lifestyle and want our children to be apart of it as much as possible. Would love to find the right fit that we can stay with for a long time. We have a resume, work history, and references if needed.
