Description:
I am looking for an entry level ranch hand or horse training job. I currently work as a full time clinical dietitian but am finding that staring at a screen for 75% of my work day is not enjoyable for me. I have been applying to jobs but most seem to want at least 2-3 years of cow/calf or horse training/instructing experience.



I have 6 months of experience working at a breeding and jumping facility where duties included picking pastures, turn-in/turn-out, assisting in feeding, grooming, and general barn chores including cleaning stalls, cleaning wash racks, water troughs, and feed buckets. I also help exercise/lunge my friends two Tennessee Walking horses. I take lessons at Montana Horse Works in Kila, MT once a week. Comfortable with saddling, grooming, and riding at a walk and a trot. I can canter but am still getting comfortable maneuvering a horse at a canter.



Looking for a ranch hand or horse training type position. Open to wrangler jobs as well. Housing is strongly preferred. Willing to move and willing to put in long days. I am physically fit and capable of manual labor. I do have a little bit of experience with a Dingo and a skid steer from a previous summer job working at a landscaping company.
