Crawford Cattle LLC outside Winnemucca, NV, is hiring.

Looking for a Cowboy for a full time position. Applicant needs to be married or married with a family.

Job Overview:

Cowboy at the T5 unit in Paradise Valley, NV.

Responsibilities include caring for the T5 herd. Will work with another T5 employee, calving some heifers, branding and working with the crew when needed. Also camping on the mountain 3-4 days a week for a few months in the summer bumping cows around, monitoring riparian areas and repairing fence when needed. Camps are nice and well taken care of.

This is a big operation with excellent long term employees. This position is for someone who is motivated, capable, wants to stay and make a home on the ranch and in the community.

Employee must provide their own horses. A min of 4 is needed for this job and can have up to 8 headed total. Outside horses are fine as long as they get used for ranch work. Dogs are ok as long as they are well mannered or kenneled. Need to be able to shoe, rope and read cattle well. You will report directly to the Cowboss who reports to Ranch Management.

House is a 3 bath 3 bedroom with open concept kitchen and living room. Huge laundry/mudroom. Wood stove in living room and fireplace in main bedroom. Wrap around porch and extensive fenced yard with lots of shade and a garage.



Day work options for a spouse as well. Kids are not eligible to work until they are 14, and can’t be in company rigs until 14yrs for insurance reasons.





Town of Winnemucca is 30 min away with all amenities, groceries, schools, hospital etc. Excellent K-8 school in Paradise Valley also. Town has post office and a little historic steak house/bar.
