DLL WATCH ME GUN "Skippy" - 2018 Gray AQHA Gelding. In a good way, Skippy is a horse of simple taste. Born and raised in our program, he has always had a quiet demeanor and wanted to be good, while remaining attuned to his rider’s cues and intentions. His perfect life would be out on the trail with a rider who enjoys horseback riding as a relaxing hobby! Skippy has always come back honest from periods of time off and rides well in a group as well as being capable of riding out alone. He has a good neck rein, knows how to move his body off your leg, rates up and down when asked and has spent time gathering cattle and pushing newborn calves out to pasture. Skippy has lived and ridden around plenty of wildlife like birds, rabbits, deer, antelope and an occasional elk herd, and has easily handled countless water crossings and natural challenges. He is not fast or fancy but has always been reliable and willing to try whatever is asked of him! Skippy stands 15.1 hands and weighs approximately 1300lbs on our livestock scale. Never been injected or medicated to ride, but due to upright conformation we keep him in breakover-style shoes on the front.
