Chubby is one of those horses that is a joy to be around. Honest, gentle, solid, and simple! He has always proven dependable and does not need consistent riding to stay gentle. In the year and a half that we have owned him, Chubby has enjoyed several vacation times out on pasture and always saddled right back up without a hitch. Chubbs is seasoned out on the trail, confident in varied terrain, and familiar with riding out alone or with a group. He enjoys being out and walks down the trail with his ears perked and a purpose in his stride, but he is not hot or jiggy. He knows how to ride one-handed, move his body off of your leg, and has cool, calm experience over many obstacles including tarps, bridges, blowup toys and more! Chubby is very cowy, has tagged calves and gathered cattle with us, and is fun to ride on the ranch. The great thing about him is that he is truly content to be a trail horse or leisure companion, too. He has the disposition and experience to fit a variety of horse owners from the intermittent trail rider to the jack-of-all-trades!
