Description:
We are looking for and experienced individual/couple that can be a positive addition to the existing operation. We are currently a 250 head cow/calf operation on approximately 9000 acres that is located near Slater, Colorado at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The Individual/couple will be expected to carry out all duties of the ranch with integrity and to the best of their capabilities. The duties will include but are not limited to:

-Fencing

-Irrigating(pivot, flood, Gated pipe, Side roll etc.)

-Maintenance(Vehicles, facilities etc.)

-Operate Equipment(backhoe, swather, rake, Baler, Tractors, Skidsteer, Pumps etc.)

-Cattle care(recognize sick, Feed, Supplement, calving, handling, etc.)



This is an all-around position which means you will not spend all of your time in one area of the ranch. We handle the cattle horseback only as this is the best way for accomplishing handling cattle in quiet manner. There is housing available for a single person or a family. There is room to bring a Maximum of 3 horses. All utilities will be covered by the ranch(internet, propane, electricity). The pay will be competitive and the more experience the more the pay. There is plenty of room for promotional opportunities. This is a great place to be.
