Description:
Charlie is a solid 5yo ranch-type horse with a good foundation and plenty of potential. He is not a child-broke or beginner horse, but is best suited for a confident, experienced rider. He has been used on the ranch and is comfortable out on the trail—handles long rides well, crosses water, and navigates rough terrain without issue. We have pushed and sorted cattle on him. He has always been very cowy! He has a smooth lope and easy trot. Will load and unload out of the trailer easily. Easy keeper weather in pasture or stall. Charlie has a long and healthy main and tail, with a beautiful deep Bay coat! Still needs consistent riding and finishing, as he can be pushy and will test a rider who isn’t firm and clear. With regular work, he has the ability to be a dependable ranch and trail horse. Sound, willing, and ready for someone looking to put the time and training into a quality project.
