Zeus is different than most ponies — he will lope right out of his tracks in the smoothest, shortest lope you can imagine, making him incredibly comfortable and easy for kids to ride. He has been part of our family for quite some time and is a true barn favorite. Our 4-year-old absolutely loves him, from roping the sled to competing in playday events such as barrels, poles, and flag race. Zeus has been hauled to multiple playdays and rodeos, where he has pushed up roping cattle and quietly cruised around the fairgrounds. Zeus gets along well with other horses, loads and hauls like a big horse, and will stand tied to the trailer all day. He has also been used to help gather and sort cattle. He is very light in the mouth, easy to guide, and a pleasure to ride. Zeus has great ground manures as well he stands for the kids to brush , saddle and he will also pick up his feet for the little kids to clean out he is absolutely kid safe ! He is solid around cattle, dogs, traffic, and heavy equipment with no spook, buck, bite, or kick. Zeus also rides off alone with no issues and is confident without other horses.
