We are ISO an experienced horse person to join our team for the 2026 Season. Western Horse Experience is a must unfortunately at this time we won’t be able to train a completely green person for our summer season. Job can start as early as May and can last through Mid November. Our summer includes Horseback Rides for 1-8 Hours, Overnight Pack Trips, Salt Packing for Local Cattleman’s Association. When we are not doing rides or packing there is ranch work fencing, irrigation, cleaning, horse care, general trail maintenance (clearing brush, chainsawing, clearing trail) getting camp gear and hunting camps ready for the Fall. there may be some assistance with cattle in the summer but mainly just moving cattle here and there, main job will be wrangling, and ranch work when not doing rides The fall season will consist of packing in hunters, packing in camp gear, setting up camps, resupplying camps, and possibly guiding hunters. Person needs to be ready to work in all types of weather, rain, snow, mud, cold and heat. we will not be hiring someone who only wants to do parts of the job, need to be willing to do all jobs or none at all, only option would be no hunting guiding, but wrangling, packing and ranch work are a must. We are willing to teach the packing aspect through the summer. A camper is available for living in, most food is provided, pay is Dependent on Experience, providing room and board will reflect pay. Prefer a single person although if there is a couple we cannot employ both parties and the other will be required to have their own job off property, although we will allow them to live on property. Will consider dogs, and personal horses. Personal horses will be out with the herd or if they are to be kept in separate pens hay will not be provided through the summer, only in the fall season. employee may be subject to a background check and references Redstone, CO is a remote village in the CO Rockies. nearest town is 20 miles.
